• For optimal results, it’s recommended to use knifeless tape to relieve the material in recessed areas. While the hybrid cast film is capable of conforming to these channels, air often gets trapped during installation. As temperatures rise, that trapped air can expand and cause the film to lift or pop up.

Because this is a hybrid cast—not a full premium cast—expectations should be set accordingly. Hybrid materials require more attention during application to ensure durability and a clean finish.
Compared to premium cast films, the hybrid cast offers excellent performance at a lower material cost—making it an ideal option for budget-conscious jobs or high-volume work.
