Wensco collects sales tax in states where we have a physical presence or economic nexus. This currently includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The amount of tax charged will vary based on the shipping location, items, and additional charges on your invoice. Customer pickup orders will be charged sales tax based on the physical branch location. No sales tax will be charged if a valid and unexpired resale or tax-exemption certificate has been filed and approved for the applicable state. If we do not charge sales tax on your order, you should confirm with your state taxing authorities as you may still be required by your state to pay a sales or use tax.

Customers in IllinoisIowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, or customers with multi-state operations, can complete the Uniform Sales & Use Tax Resale Certificate - Multijurisdiction form.
