Grain Fraim can easily simulate wood grain in SignFoam. Simply place Grain Fraim in front of a pre-masked sign and sandblast through the wires until the desired depth of the grain is achieved. Remove Grain Fraim and finish the sign.
Grain Fraim is a metal fabricated frame containing hundreds of precision spaced wires that alter the path of sand during the normal sandblasting process producing a perfect vertical grain effect.
It comes equipped with a special “tension bar”. This allows for the adjustment of the wire tension making it possible to produce a consistently desirable wood grain effect.
