A mixture of rare gasses (25% Argon, 75% Neon), when used with added Mercury, illuminates sealed glass tubing signs (neon signs), usually blue, green, white, turquoise, and colors other than red.

• For all-weather applications from below-zero regions to the tropics, the high percentage of Neon in K4 provides the heat necessary to completely vaporize mercury under cold weather conditions.
